Tigard Tualatin School District (“District�) requires mandatory prequalification of general contractor (prime) prospective bidders for the following Work: The proposed site for the new elementary school is located on the existing school site. The property has driveway access off the end of SW Murdock Street, but no other street frontage. The northern edge of the site abuts the neighboring Twality Middle School track and ball fields. The overall site is approximately 12.6 acres and has a square boundary configuration. In general, the project consists of the design of a new 597 student elementary school for Tigard Tualatin School District. Staff count is estimated in the range of 60 persons. The new school size is programmed at approximately 75,000 square feet. The four smaller concrete buildings will be demolished to make room for the new elementary school and additional parking. New baseball fields and soccer fields will be developed within the remaining property along the east edge of the site. For planning, this project would replace the existing Templeton elementary school on the existing site in such a way that students could continue learning in the existing building until the new school building was complete; at which point students, staff and equipment would be moved to the new school.
