Associated site improvements including a large outdoor concrete plaza with terraced seated walls, parking, hardscape, landscape, and utility work.

The Washington County Public Safety Training Center project located in Hillsboro, Oregon consists of complete renovation to an existing 2-story, Type 5-B, fully sprinkled building.  The addition of a second floor within the existing building, a small building addition and all associated site improvements. The completed facility will include office/administration spaces, training classrooms, shooting range, and an armory.

Single story building of approximately 9,500 square feet that houses fire station personnel with three (3) drive through vehicle bays and crew living and sleeping and office areas. Composite asphalt shingle roofing, aluminum storefront, overhead doors, fiber cement panel siding and horizontal fiber cement board siding exterior, interior finishes, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection and electrical. The project also included the development of the approximately 2 acres of a 5.79 acre project site which involved site clearing, retaining structures, concrete and asphalt paving, construction of site and frontage improvements and off-site improvements.

Hood River Fire Station

This project began with the demolition of the existing Fire Station structure and related site work necessary to prepare for the new building. The new, 2-story Fire Station is comprised of approximately 17,900 square feet. It is a wood framed structure with masonry veneer, fiber cement board siding, and aluminum storefront windows. Seismic rehabilitation was also completed. This was a 10 month project.

Clark College Stout Hall

This project began with the demolition of the existing Stout Hall structure which housed classrooms, study areas and concessions. The new unique curved structure ties to existing buildings on two sides and is the anchor of the southeast corner of the main campus. The multi-level steel framed structure features 10 smart classrooms, 20 faculty offices, a student lounge and a food vending area. Extensive underground work was necessary to house piping for site utilities, electric power and storm drainage.

Camas High School

The Camas High School project consisted of renovations and an addition of approximately 25,000 square feet that increased the school’s capacity by 350 students. The project included a new student commons, training classroom, wrestling and dance rooms and classroom wing, which adds the equivalent of 11 classrooms. The library was also expanded and the physical education areas renovated. Additionally, the front entrance of the school was renovated to help improve security.
